Plow Pros, LLC ("PlowPros," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of customers, snow-removal providers ("PlowPros" or "Providers"), website visitors, and other users of our services.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect information when you use the PlowPros mobile application, website, technology platform, communications, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").
By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
The information we collect depends on how you interact with PlowPros and which features of the Platform you use.
We may collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Platform, and information received from service providers or other authorized sources.

When you create an account, request service, apply to become a Provider, communicate with PlowPros, or otherwise use the Platform, we may collect information such as:

PROPERTY AND SERVICE INFORMATION
When requesting snow-removal or ice-management services, we may collect information about the property and requested work, including:

Property hazards
Obstacles
Service preferences
Notes provided to Providers
Requested services

Photographs or videos of the property or completed work
This information may be shared with the Provider assigned to or considering the service request when reasonably necessary to facilitate the service.
2. LOCATION AND GPS INFORMATION
Location information is an important part of operating the PlowPros Platform.
Depending on your device permissions, account type, Platform functionality, and use of the application, we may collect precise or approximate location information.
For Providers, this may include GPS location while using the PlowPros application, traveling to an active service request, performing an active job, or using Platform functionality that requires location information.
Location information may be used to:
Identify nearby service opportunities
Match Customers with available Providers
Display job locations
Provide navigation
Estimate arrival
Show service progress
Verify arrival at a property
Verify service activity
Improve dispatching
Prevent fraud
Investigate service disputes
Improve Platform performance and safety
Depending on device settings and application functionality, location information may be collected while the application is running in the foreground or background.
Users can control certain location permissions through their device settings. Disabling location permissions may prevent some PlowPros features from functioning correctly.
GPS and mapping technology are not always accurate. Location information may be delayed, unavailable, or affected by device settings, weather, network connectivity, satellite availability, or other technical factors.
3. PROVIDER AND CONTRACTOR INFORMATION
Individuals and businesses applying to or participating in the PlowPros Provider network may provide additional information.
This may include:
Full legal name
Business name
Business contact information
Service areas
Driver's license information
Vehicle information
Vehicle registration
Equipment information
Plow information
Insurance information
Certificates of insurance
Business documentation
Tax information
Payment or payout information
Provider photographs
Equipment photographs

PlowPros may use this information to evaluate Provider eligibility, administer the Provider network, process payments, address safety concerns, prevent fraud, comply with legal requirements, and maintain Platform quality.
4. PAYMENT INFORMATION
PlowPros may use third-party payment processors to facilitate Customer payments and Provider payouts.
When you make or receive payments through PlowPros, payment information may be collected and processed by our payment- processing providers.
Depending on the payment method and provider, this information may include:
Payment card information
Bank account information
Billing information
Transaction information
Payment authorization information
Provider payout information
Refunds
Chargebacks
Payment disputes
PlowPros may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, partial payment information, and other information necessary to administer transactions.
We generally do not need to directly store complete payment-card numbers when transactions are processed through an authorized third-party payment processor.
Payment providers maintain their own privacy and security practices.
5. PHOTOS, VIDEOS, MESSAGES, AND USER CONTENT
The Platform may allow Customers and Providers to upload or submit content.
This may include:
Property photographs
Before-and-after photographs
Service-completion photographs
Equipment photographs
Profile photographs
Videos
Messages
Service instructions
Reviews
Support requests
Incident documentation
Damage documentation
We may use this information to facilitate services, document work, investigate disputes, provide customer support, improve the Platform, prevent fraud, and maintain service quality.
Users should avoid including unnecessary sensitive or confidential information in photographs, messages, or other content submitted through PlowPros.

We may collect information about communications between you, PlowPros, Customers, and Providers when those communications occur through or relate to the Platform.

PlowPros does not sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of selling information directly to data brokers for money.
We may share information when necessary to operate the Platform.
CUSTOMERS AND PROVIDERS
Information necessary to complete a service request may be shared between Customers and Providers.
For example, a Provider may receive:

Property location
Service instructions
Property notes
Photographs
Access information
Information reasonably necessary to complete the requested service
Customers may receive information about the Provider assigned to their service, which may include:

Provider or business profile

We may share information with companies that help operate PlowPros, including providers of:

PlowPros may operate or participate in programs intended to provide free or subsidized snow-removal services or other assistance to veterans and members of the community.
We may work with nonprofit organizations, veteran organizations, sponsors, donors, Providers, and community partners to administer these programs.

We will seek to limit information shared with participating organizations and Providers to information reasonably necessary to administer the program and provide the requested assistance.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

Provide services
Process transactions
Maintain financial and tax records

Users may control location access through their Apple iOS or Android device settings.
Some Platform functionality may require location access.
Providers who disable location services may be unable to:
View certain nearby jobs
Navigate through the Platform
Provide service-progress information
Verify arrival
Use other location-dependent Provider functionality
Your mobile operating system may provide options such as approximate location, precise location, foreground location, or background location.
The options available depend on your device and operating-system version.
18. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS, EMAIL, AND SMS
PlowPros may communicate with Users through push notifications, email, SMS/text messaging, or other electronic methods.
Users may adjust push-notification permissions through their device settings.
Users may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe mechanism included in those communications.
Where applicable, Users may opt out of promotional SMS messages according to instructions provided in the message.
Service-related and transactional communications may still be necessary to operate an active account or service request.
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier.
19. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
PlowPros is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through standard Platform accounts.
Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account or enter into paid service transactions unless otherwise permitted under applicable law and expressly authorized by PlowPros.
If we learn that personal information from a child was collected in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
20. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Platform may contain links to or integrations with third-party services.

Payment processors
Mapping providers

PlowPros is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third parties.

21. APPLE APP STORE AND GOOGLE PLAY
The PlowPros mobile application may be distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Apple and Google may independently collect information regarding application downloads, device activity, purchases, diagnostics, and other activity according to their own privacy policies.
PlowPros does not control information collected independently by Apple or Google.
The privacy disclosures displayed on the Apple App Store and Google Play should be read together with this Privacy Policy.
22. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
PlowPros may update this Privacy Policy as the Platform, laws, technology, or our business practices change.
